We need volunteers to help with Packet Pick-Up on Thursday, May 18th from 3 pm - 8pm at The Evergreen Pub and Grill in St. Charles and on Friday, May 19th location TBD

We pay with beer! Volunteer and you will get 1 free beer during the night!

We need help setting up the event and taking down the event. This volunteer position is preferred to be added in addition to another task ex. registration, parking director, etc.

If you can only volunteer for this position and no other position that also works!

Arrive 8:00 am for Set-up
3:00 pm Tear-Down starts

Registration/Check-in High Priority

Details

Volunteer to run check-in and day of registrations. This is a fast paced and extremely important task. This is the first experience Hops for Hope 5K attendees will have with the event and it must run smooth. Must be comfortable with fast pace and conversation with attendees.

Course Marshals & Mile Markers for time High Priority

You must be 21 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Course Marshal - Be on the course cheering runners/walkers on! You will also be at corners (areas that can be confusing) to help guide runner/walkers

Mile Markers - At mile 1, 2, and 3 there will be a volunteer with a stop watch yelling out times to runners/walkers as the pass

Parking Lot Guidance  

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Volunteer to help guide/direct cars to designated parking lots. Parking at Mount Saint Mary Park is small, so we will need to utilize public parking lots. Runners/walkers will be given designated lots ahead of time but you will be in designated spots directing cars and informing when parking lot is full.
