A community event to be shared with loved ones - family & friends! Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time to spend together - a time of gratitude for all we have!

Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27 @ 8:30am at the Elkhart Health & Aquatics Center, 200 East Jackson, Elkhart IN.

⌚ ARRIVE BY 7:30 AM on race day

10K starts first at 8:30am, 5K at 8:35am, and the Mile Walk at 8:40am following as soon as the 5K people are through the gates.

Pricing includes timed race entry fee for 10K and 5K, (Mile walk is untimed), finisher medals for all who want them, and post race refreshments.

Custom shirts are optional, and an additional $15.

Come join us in the morning for some fresh air and movement, before your family festivities!  This is NOT intended to take up your entire morning- just come out- be with the community -  move a bit, work up an appetite and then get back to your plans! Remember to look out for those folks who might not have a place to go on Thanksgiving- and invite them to participate with you!  

ATTN GROUPS: We LOVE groups! If you have a group of people (3 or more) you can register everyone all at once. Create a group name. One person can come to packet pickup and get the entire package of bibs/shirts/ etc. If you are having a group, please register by Tuesday, November 18, 2025 so that we have time to put the group bundles together. NOTE: You must give your group a name in order for our system to pull your people together. Our system doesn't recognize you as a group if you just sign up multiple people.

Registration and Packet Pickup - online registration open until 7:30am on race day! Yes, you can register online on race day - arrive EARLY to pickup!!

If you prefer to pay in cash or check, you may do this onsite as well - go to the cash line.

Tuesday, November 25 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at Fleet Feet Mishawaka, 3522 Grape Road, Mishawaka

Wednesday, November 26 from Noon - 6:00pm at the Elkhart Health & Aquatics Center, 200 East Jackson in Elkhart- Commons side.

Thursday, November 27 from 6:30am - 8:00am on RACE DAY, Elkhart Health & Aquatics Center, 200 East Jackson in Elkhart- Commons side

The shirt order goes in on November 11. We will have a few extra 2024 shirts for sale on a first come, first serve basis for $15.  In addition, we have shirts from 2023  race for $5. Cash for the shirts, please.

6:30am      Pack Pick-up

8:10am      Gather in corral along Jackson (from river to train tracks)

8:10am      10K lines up in 1st corral on Jackson

8:10am      5K runners line up in 2nd corral on Jackson

8:10am      5k walkers line up in 3rd corral on Jackson

8:10am      1-mile lines up in 4th corral on Jackson

8:20am      Welcome and Prayer

8:22am      Course Comments and Instructions

8:30am      10K only Starts (Watch Monster Message for race countdown)

8:35am      5K Turkey Rabbit is released with a 45 second head start

8:36am      5K Runners & walkers (Watch Monster Message for race countdown)

8:40am      1-Mile Walk lead by Gobbles the Turkey (Watch Monster Message for race countdown)

There is no official awards ceremony, because we know people want to leave and get back to their holiday asap. Everyone will get a finisher medal. We do offer the coveted turkey awards for the top three overall men and women that finish the 5K and 10K. Come to the wagon up by the timing trailer by the start finish line, and we will take care of you!

Results will be on the Monster Message Jumbotron and posted immediately online at Runsignup.com,  EpicRaceTiming.com and later on Stone Soup Promotions. We are continuing the tradition of the coveted gravy boat awards to the top 3 MF in both the 5K and 10K in addition to gift cards  and free entries into 2025 race. Additionally, we offer $25 cash to the first male and female to Catch the Turkey! (Not a real turkey, we have a human dressed up as a turkey--honor system here.)

Parking (parking map) will be in the adjacent lots around Beacon Health & Aquatics. There is a huge lot by the Hacienda, Civic Plaza, Innova Credit Union, NIBCO water and ice park, and 30+ small businesses close to the race start.

The Start and Finish line location is at Jackson Ave and Nibco Pkwy.

* Start line at Nibco Parkway! Check the map to find the start-finish, parking, and mile markers.

* Streamlined registration process; If you sign up as a group, you can still pick up at Group Registration. Everyone else will be assigned a number when they arrive, so there is no waiting. 

* Online registration will stay open until 8:00 am on Thanksgiving Day.

Any extra shirts will be sold on a first come first serve basis to those who did not PRE-REGISTER.  $15 for 2025 and $5 for 2024 shirts.

On RACE DAY- Cash/check only for shirts. Make checks payable to Faith Mission of Michiana.
