New Date: TBD
Thank you for signing up for the Woodchuck Derby 1M, 5K and 10K which was to be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020.
We will not be having the race at this date and are going to decide if it will happen at a later date or just pushed to 2021. With so many events canceling, finding an open window that works for everyone might be difficult.
Stay safe and keep up the exercise !
Additional race information can be found at http://StoneSoupPromotions.com.
2020 will be the first annual Woodchuck Derby featuring an untimed 1 mile walk, 5K run or walk and 10K run. This is intended to be fun for the entire family regardless of age or athletic ability. The one mile walk will have several stations along the way to keep young children engaged. Strollers are welcome on this course. A separate 5K and 10K course will be on paved roads. There will not be auto traffic on the roads.
Awards will be given to the top 3 MF overall, and then AG awards, 3 deep in 15 standard age groups. The mile course is not timed, so there will not be awards for that, however, there will be activity stations along the way. This will be the perfect outdoor activity for younger children, parents and grandparents alike!
Everyone who participates will earn a ticket to lunch at the end at your choice of XX food trucks. There will also be a DJ and festive activities at the end, like a small fair.
Great Lakes Forest Products is sponsoring this event. All proceeds go to the Elkhart County Education Foundation .
