Whether you're chasing a personal best, strolling with family and friends, or volunteering to make the day unforgettable, your participation helps provide high-quality early childhood education and nature-based learning experiences for children in our community.

5K Run/Walk
$30 through May 5, 2027
$35 from May 6 – June 7, 2027
$40 beginning June 8 and on race day
All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Can I Walk the 5K?
Absolutely! Walkers are welcome.

Please plan to complete the course within one hour. Both runners and walkers are eligible for awards if their times qualify.

1-Mile Family Fun Walk
Perfect for families of all ages! Registration includes up to five family members.

$15 through May 5, 2027
$20 from May 6 – June 7, 2027
$25 beginning June 8 and on race day
All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Event T-Shirts
5K Participants
Every 5K registration includes a commemorative short-sleeve event t-shirt.
Participants registered by June 1, 2027 are guaranteed their requested size. After that date, shirts and sizes are available while supplies last.

1-Mile Family Walk Participants
Family Walk participants may purchase event t-shirts.
Orders placed by June 1, 2027 are guaranteed. After that date, availability cannot be guaranteed.
Tip: Wear a white or light-colored shirt if you want the full Splash of Color experience!

The Splash of Color Experience
One of the most exciting parts of the event is being showered with vibrant color along the course!
Participants who prefer to avoid most of the color can stay to one side of the route.
Our event is inspired by large-scale color runs while maintaining its own unique community atmosphere.

The color powder used is:

• Non-toxic

• Biodegradable

• Safe for wildlife and vegetation

• We strive to minimize our environmental impact. Following the event, walkways will be cleaned to disperse remaining color powder, and nature will take care of the rest.

5K Timed Race Begins

Approximately 8:05 a.m.
5K Walk Begins

Approximately 9:15 a.m.
1-Mile Family Fun Walk Begins

Award presentations will take place around 9:15 a.m. or before the Family Walk, depending on race timing.

Awards
5K Awards
Awards will be presented to the top two male and female finishers in each age division:
8–12
13–18
19–29
30–39
40–49
50–59
60–69
70–99
Special awards will also be presented to the Overall Male Champion and Overall Female Champion.

Family Walk
While the 1-Mile Family Fun Walk is non-competitive, participants ages 0–7 can receive a fun participation award while supplies last.

Registration Check-In
Please check in at the registration area before your event begins.
Check-in opens at 7:00 a.m.
All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Packet Pickup
Packet pickup will take place at St. Vincent Early Learning Center on:
Friday, June 11
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Participants may also pick up their bibs and shirts on race morning between 7:00 a.m. and 7:55 a.m. near the registration area.
Packets will not be mailed.

Race Timing
The 5K will be professionally timed by To the Finish Timing.
Official results will be posted on the race website and timing website following the event.

Inclement Weather
Weather decisions will be made on race day.
If severe weather requires cancellation, there will be no refunds. Event shirts will be available for pickup at St. Vincent Early Learning Center at a later date, with additional information provided to registered participants.

Strollers & Other Items
Strollers are welcome in the 5K Walk and 1-Mile Family Fun Walk.
Please use extra caution if weather conditions are less than ideal.
Policies regarding dogs, skateboards, and other wheeled devices will be announced closer to race day.

Volunteer Opportunities
Splash of Color depends on an amazing team of volunteers!
Help us prepare race packets, welcome participants, distribute water, throw color, direct runners, assist with cleanup, and more.
Volunteer registration will be available through RunSignup.
