Going the Distance for Healthy Living!
Tour de La Porte is a cycling, running and walking event to benefit youth and healthy living programs through the La Porte County Family YMCA. 100% of the proceeds raised are used to provide direct support to eligible La Porte County residents in need of financial assistance towards such programs. At the Y, we don’t turn anyone away due to the inability to pay.
We encourage family participation - when you sign up you'll notice adjusted pricing or children.
Join us for post race refreshments and awards after the event in and around Cummings Lodge! Approximately 8:30AM for the 5K, and 10:30AM for the Half Marathon. Please note, if you qualified for an award, you or someone on your behalf must be present to receive the award. Awards will be held at the YMCA front desk for one week after the event for you to pick up, other

All running, walking and cycling Tour de La Porte events will be held rain or shine!
For the safety of all participants and volunteers, the race will either have a delayed start or, depending on the intensity of the weather, be cancelled if lightning is present in the area. The Event Management Staff, in coordination with the Fire Chief, will determine whether the event needs to be delayed or cancelled.
We will announce on the home page of website and our Facebook page if there is the need for a delay or cancellation. We will also make every effort to text all participants and volunteers. As there are multiple events on multiple days, make sure to check back often for updated information about the Tour de La Porte. No refunds are available for the Tour de La Porte.

All events start and end at Cummings Lodge located in Soldier's Memorial Park. Please enter park from Waverly Road, accessed from Pine Lake Ave (Hwy 35) for the safety of participants.
