Seara's Legacy K9 Trials & 140 Challenge

Two events combined for a great day of honoring a hero! 

The K-9 Officer Seara Burton Foundation will be hosting these events in honor of our fallen hero, Officer Seara Burton. 

All proceeds will be utilized to continue the Foundations mission and fund K9 departments around the country. 

140 Challenge 

5k Run/Walk & Fitness Challenge

Participants can choose to participate in 5k only or 5k & Fitness challenge. 5k is open to all levels of runners/walkers! 

After completion of the run participants will have the option to complete the fitness challenge. 

The Fitness Challenge will consist of 4 bodyweight workouts (4 years of Service) and 140 reps of each workout (Badge Number).

• Sit-Ups
• Squats
• Push-Ups
• Lunges

Each workout can be complete by type or in 4 rounds of 35 reps each circuit!

Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female awards given for the run. 

Seara's Legacy K9 Trials

Police K-9 Competition

The K9 trials will consist of 4 K9 events

• Open Area Search
• Vehicles 
• Obedience (Obstacle Course)
• Hard Dog/Fast Dog

Awards will be given for each category and overall Top Dog!

Timeline of the day:

The 5k portion of the 140 Challenge starts at 8:00am with fitness challenge immediately following the run. 

K-9 Trials will begin at 12:00pm (noon). Open Area, Vehicles and Obstacle course will run simultaneously. Hard Dog/Fast Dog will be the final event after all others are completed.

Spectators are free to attend and watch all events.
