The Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice (LACLJ) hosts its 3rd annual virtual run/walk, Empower Run, February 25-26, 2023. Join us in raising awareness for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and raising funds to provide free legal representation and community services to low-income families in need. Your participation helps to empower survivors to create their own violence-free futures.
Run, roll or stroll for 1 mile, a 5K or a 10K! A Virtual Run is about being healthy, having fun, and supporting a worthy cause while accomplishing your personal wellness goals. You can run, roll, or stroll, from any location you choose and receive a T-shirt and medal for participating. The LACLJ Empower Run gives you the freedom to run your own route on your own time all while being a part of a community supporting survivors.
About LACLJ
Founded in 1973, LACLJ’s mission is to secure justice for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and empower them to create their own future. LACLJ is the only legal services agency in L.A. County with the primary goal of serving survivors of domestic and sexual violence. LACLJ annually serves over 900 survivors in need, many of whom are mothers, undocumented immigrants, and families experiencing multiple barriers to accessing justice.

Note: All race registrants are automatically set up with a fundraiser. However, you are NOT REQUIRED to fundraise to participate in the Empower Run.
