6:15am - 10K Runner's Buses leave for Chaffee Zoo
7:00am - Half Marathon will begin at Chukchansi Stadium 
7:00am - 10k Starts at Chaffee Zoo inside of Roeding Park
7:05am - 5k Run/Walk starts at Chukchansi Stadium

10k Participants please note: There will be NO packet pickup at the 10k start at the Zoo. If you are needing to pickup your packet morning of event you must do so at Chukchansi Park and then catch the bus to take you to the 10k start-line at Roeding Park.

Double Header Series!
Run any of the Tesoro Viejo Spring Classic Events, Half Marathon, 10k or 5k and also the California Classic Half Marathon, 10k. or 5k and receive a very special Double Header Series Finisher Medal.

We have replaced our Relay with a 10k Zoo Run! No more just one runner gets to run through the Zoo! This point-to-point 6.2 mile run starts right outside Fresno Chaffee Zoo, travels through the Zoo as it winds its way back through Downtown Fresno where you finish in grand-style at Chukchansi Park. Yes all 10k runners will get to join the half marathon runners as they run in amazement through Fresno Chaffee Zoo and gaze at all of the beautiful animals!  10k Runners will be bused from Chukchansi Park to the Zoo where they will start at the same time as the half marathon back at Chukchansi Park.

The Rock n Run 5k is a family event and for those who aren't quite up to a 10k or half marathon but still want the run/party experience!   You will run or walk through Downtown Fresno and rock to the sounds of Rock n Roll. This event does not go through the Zoo but does Finish at Chukchansi Park. 5k finisher's will receive ALL the amenities that our half marathon and 10k participants receive including our custom finisher's medallion.

5k Participants Receive ALL amenities except they will not run through the Zoo.

Each year we add a new Safari Animal Pin. In 2018 we featured the tiger, 2019 it was the Giraffe, 2021 was an elephant. For 2023 we are highlighting the Hippopotamus!  If you haven't already, now is a good time to start a collection of animal pins!   All runners will receive their Hippopotamus pin to add to their collection when they pick up their bib number, shirt, and other items.
