Welcome to the 4th annual Great American Race, now a CLASSIC Event. Let's kick off July 4th with a 5k, 10k, and Costume Contest! The event will take place at Visalia's Riverway Sports Park and the new paved trails along the St. Johns Trail.
Join us as we celebrate America's Birthday! Kids 8 and under registration fees are discounted to $25 at registration.

Symbol of Freedom
The flag of the United States of America is a symbol of freedom before which Americans recite the pledge of allegiance. The flag's 13 red and white stripes represent the 13 original colonies. Its 50 white stars on a blue background represent the 50 states.
The meaning behind the colors of the American flag; red for valor, white for purity, and blue for justice. On 4th of July at the Great American Race the National Anthem will be sung before the race starts.
