Description
May The 4th Be With You! Join us along with Drakes Brewing Company at The Barn in Sacramento as we kick of Beer City Sacramento with a run on the Riverfront, through West Sacramento, and south along the American River Bike Path. When you get home we will be there with tastes of Drake's for finishers as well as non-alchoholic beverages and snacks. Stick around for the Beer City Festival, with dozens of brewers joining in the celebration.
Finishers receive a Beer City Sacramento shirt, a finisher's medal (the Key to Beer City!) and two tastes of Drake's delicious beer. Runners also get VIP access to the Beer City Festival which opens at 11am and is a separate ticket. Tasting packages are available at checkout.

Schwag & Awards
Each runner receives the special obsidian-looking Key to Beer City Sacramento finishers medal, a comfy Beer City Sacramento t-shirt, a 7oz Beer City tasting glass, a custom bib, and free race photos.
Podium trophies are given to the top 3 in each race by gender. Age group awards are given 3-deep in 10-year divisions (example: 20-29). Age group winners are requested to identify themselves at the timing table.
All runners are entered into the Beer City Series results and our Slammers receive a special lanyard that holds all the keys. Collect them all -- gotta run first!

Beer Tasting and Post Race Refreshement
Beer City Half offers our runners over 21 years of age a selection of beer from Drakes. Who else!?. There will also be non-alcoholic drinks as well as the water, bubbly drinks we provide including Bellwether Farms yogurt and fruit.
Beer will be served in Beer City Festival tasting glasses for you to take home (without a beer in them still) and for you to continue on to Beer City Festival starting at 11 am.
