CLEAN International May Challenge: Time to Plant!

During the month of May, we challenge you to plant. Trees, flowers, fruit, vegetables, even windowsill gardens! Be part of the movement to make the world more green one plant at a time. 

This month, we are focusing on the multiple environmental services that plants and trees provide. Not only do plants and trees decrease CO2 in the atmosphere, but they provide shade, prevent erosion, provide habitat for species, filter water, and increase biodiversity. Deforestation occurs at a rapid rate globally and has drastic impacts locally and globally. In order to offset these impacts, we can all start by planting on our own or with a local environmental group.
