Join us this December for a holiday themed 5K Challenge.
The more 5K’s you complete, the more SWAG you EARN.
So throw on your snow cap, lace up your sneakers and log some miles.
How Does this running/walking challenge work?
Starting Tuesday December 1st you can start logging some miles for some fun SWAG.
There will be a weekly post on the Hoppy Snowman 5K Challenge FB Page.
Make sure you request to join the private FB page HERE.
On the weekly post you will comment a picture of your gps with the miles you EARNED that day.
We will then add your miles to our tracker HERE at the end of the week.
You have until Thursday December 31st at midnight to run/walk as many 5Ks as you can.
SWAG will be rewarded based on how many you complete.

What Miles Count?
Miles that count:
Your daily run/walk/hike.
Treadmill miles count.
Miles that do not count:
Daily steps converted to miles.
Bike or elliptical.
How Do I EARN my SWAG?
The more 5K's you complete ... the more you EARN.
Log 4 5K's by 12/31

*You must run/walk AT LEAST 3.1 miles consecutively for your run to count as 1 of the 5K's.
** 1 run of 3.1+ miles = 1 5K.
*** You can ONLY run/walk 1 5K PER DAY
****10 miles DOES NOT = 3 5K's, it only = 1 5K.

How do I Redeem My Swag?
ALL SWAG will be available for pick up at Captain Blue Hen starting Wednesday January 6th until Wednesday January 20th.
They will have a list with your name on it.
Please present them an ID for verification.
Captain Blue Hen is located at 280 East Main Street Suite 101 Newark, DE 19711 in the Market East Plaza on Main Street.
*SWAG can be picked up between these following dates ONLY.
*You can pick up for a friend or family member.
Can I have my SWAG mailed to me instead?
YES
If you live out of state and want to participate or cannot make it down to Captain Blue Hen to pick up we can mail it to you.
1. There is a $4.95 shipping and handling charge. During registration you have to choose this option in order for us to mail your SWAG.
2. All swag will be mailed after the completion of the challenge on January 1st.
