Description
Lieutenant Joseph Szczerba ’85, an 18 year veteran of the New Castle County Police Department and a 1985 graduate of Salesianum School, was killed in the line of duty on September 16, 2011. To honor his legacy, Salesianum has established a scholarship in his name. Come run/walk and support this amazing cause!
About Lt. Joseph Szczerba
Lieutenant Szczerba had served with the New Castle County Police Department for 18 years. He is survived by his wife and family.
Lieutenant Szczerba was posthumously promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and awarded the department's Medal of Honor.
