Description
Join us for a day of fun at the Burks Elementary Ribbit Run presented by Fleet Feet! Whether it’s our 5K Race, 1K Fun Run, or Tiny Tree Frog Trot, we have races for all ages and paces.
Enjoy a whole morning of family fun. We will have complimentary hot chocolate and coffee, food for purchase, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and the playground will be open.
Register by Monday, February 10th, 2025, to receive a t-shirt. T-shirts will not be available to entries after February 10th, 2025.
All event proceeds go to the Burks Elementary PTO which provides support for teacher and school-wide projects.
Early Packet Pickup
Early packet pickup and registration will be available on Thursday, February 27th at Johnnie Lay Burks Elementary from 4-5:30 PM and Friday, February 28th at Fleet Feet Athens from 4-7PM.

Awards will be available at the 5K Awards Ceremony at 10:45 AM. If you are unable to attend the ceremony, please contact us at ribbitrun5k@gmail.com.
Course
The 5K course starts and finishes at Johnnie Lay Burks Elementary School. COURSE MAP
The Tree Frog 1K will start and finish at Johnnie Lay Burks Elementary School and will run a 1K portion of the 5K course. COURSE MAP
The Tiny Tree Frog Trot runs on campus around the loop in front of the school.

Awards
5K Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female, Grand Masters Male/Female and the following Male / Female Age Groups:
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and Over.
Participation awards will be given to all Tree Frog Trot 1K and Tiny Tree Frog Trot.
What if it Rains?
We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
