Fulton CARES 6th Annual FCS 5K Run/Walk

Fulton CARES is thrilled to present our 6th Annual FCS 5K Run/Walk—a celebration of six years of community, health, and wellness. Join us for a FREE event designed to bring together FCS employees, families, and district leaders for an inspiring morning of running, walking, and camaraderie.

Event Highlights

• Back by Popular Demand... Freddie the Falcon cheering you on throughout the event
• Special Guest: Warm-up with Fitness Guru Coach Sutters of Westlake High School
• Complimentary t-shirt and light snack for all registered runners and walkers
• Raffle and Monetary prizes sponsored by Family First Credit Union 
• Team Spirit Recognition: Compete with your school, department, or office in matching shirts, school colors, or a fun theme—the squad with the highest participation will be recognized during the awards ceremony
• Games, wellness raffles, live music, and King of Pops for supporters and spectators
• FCS Department Partners will be onsite for questions and information.

Prize Categories

Men/Women (18 & over): First Place $100, Second Place $75, Third Place $50

Boys/Girls (5-17): First Place $75, Second Place $50, Third Place $25

Location: Adjacent to the Administrative Center, 6201 Powers Ferry Road, Atlanta, GA 30339

Schedule:

• Check-in: 7:45 a.m.
• Warm-up with Fitness Coach Tracy Sutters (Westlake High School): 8:30 a.m.
• Race begins: 9:00 a.m.

Important Information

Registration: Please select a ticket for each participant and include names for all guests and children.

T-Shirt Guarantee: T-shirts are available for registered participants who RSVP by October 5, 2026. Registrations after this date may not include a t-shirt. 

Waiver Requirement: All participants must complete the event waiver.
