Description
Its that time of the year to gather together with no sweating involved: the MPRRC Annual Banquet and Membership Meeting.
The event will be held at Ala Moana Hotel by Mantra, 410 Atkinson Drive, Honolulu Hawaii 96814. The banquet will be a catered buffet dinner and is free to members. However, there is a $20 security deposit that will be refunded to you in cash at the door. Registered Banquet attendees who do not show up at the Banquet forfeit the $20 security deposit to partially cover the cost of the meal that was reserved and paid in advance.
You also have the option of coming to the Annual Membership Meeting without attending the buffet Banquet beforehand to avoid paying the $20 security deposit, but you must still register to reserve a seat.
Online registration will close on April 7, 2025.
Non-member guests will cost $75.00 each.
Every member listed on a family membership in Run Sign Up is eligible to attend at no cost except the fully refundable deposit.*
All club members are welcome and encouraged to attend both the Banquet and/or the Annual Meeting.
*Family members on a family membership must be registered in RunSignUp to attend the banquet at no cost except the fully refundable deposit. To add family members that are not currently listed on the family membership, logon to RunSignUp, open your "Profile." The Profile is normally located in a dropdown - click on the circle with a gray silhouette, upper right hand corner - but on some devices "Profile" is one of the choices listed across the top of the main page. In either case, open the page, scroll down to the bottom, and locate "My Club Memberships." Mid-Pacific Road Runners Club should be listed. Choose the current one and click on the "Manage" button. You will see the details of your membership and under that you will see who is a registered family member. If you have a family member to add, on the left hand side click on "Add Member" and follow the prompts.
Annual Board Election

During the meeting portion, an election of Board members will be held. Each year an election is held to fill Board of Director vacancies. This year there are five Board member vacancies.

A nominating committee is currently generating a list of nominees. If you or someone you know is interested in being a candidate for the Board of Directors, please email by March 31, 2025, to be included on the ballot.

Each nominee will be given about two minutes to speak during the meeting so that members can become familiar with them prior to voting.

Club members will be provided a ballot and voting will take place immediately after all candidates have spoken. Results of the voting will be announced before the conclusion of the meeting.
