Description

Plogging is a combination of running or walking and picking up trash you see on your route. It is an up-and-coming fitness trend that brings variety to your workouts while helping to keep the environment clean and healthy. Boise Plogs is a fitness initiative for both the individual and the planet!  Anyone can register for this event, no matter your ability, and plogging materials will be provided. 
  • Choose a suggested neighborhood from the list below or choose your own location in the Treasure Valley (foothills, Meridian, greenbelt, school grounds, etc..) to plog during the week of April 19-25th.  
  • There is no time requirement but plogging for at least 30 minutes is suggested.
  • Pick up your plogging supplies and Boise Nice thank you swag on April 15th and 16th at Zamzow's State Street Location (6208 W State Street, Boise) between 3:00 and 6:00 PM. 
There will be prizes for 1) the most creative team names and 2) the most unique/interesting piece of litter/trash! 3) the most litter picked up 4) Boise Plogs 2026 MVP
