Sunshine for Claire, a pediatric cancer foundation, was created in the memory of Claire Elliott, who passed when she was just 9 years old from a rare brain tumor. In her honor, Sunshine for Claire now raises money for pediatric cancer research and for cancer families right here in the Treasure Valley and beyond! Help us raise money and spread sunshine to kids fighting cancer!

Please take a moment to read what we are raising money for... 
Our first major outreach will be to donate care packages to kids fighting cancer and their families, some of which will be given to the Children's inpatient floor at St. Luke's Children's Hospital. Imagine yourself on an emergency visit, and your family is in for a few nights stay--let's think of all the things we've likely forgotten: a phone charger, a hair brush, maybe a favorite teddy bear, or a calming smelling lotion... There are also shower facilities at the hospital, but the shampoo provided is not what we're used to at home--these little comforts can make all the difference. I can remember my sigh of relief when our ICU nurse told us that hair brushes were donated so we didn't have to use a small, plastic comb.
