Bunny Rock 10K, 5K, and Kids Egg Dash

Join us on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Arvey Field (Grant Park) at 9:00 A.M. for the Bunny Rock Chicago 10K, 5K, and Kid’s Egg Dash. This festive race is sure to bring lots of excitement and entertainment with 80’s rock music being played at the start and finish line, amazing amenities, and an overall fun, spring-filled race!

RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP

• LOCATION: Arvey Field- Under White Tents
• DATE: Saturday, April 8, 2023
• TIMES: 7:30 AM
  • *If you are unable to attend Packet Pickup on the Friday before the race, you can pick it up on Race Day for a FEE. There is a $5.00 fee per packet, per paid participant that you can pay during registration or cash day-of. To avoid paying this fee, please attend Packet Pickup in person the days prior.

PACKET SHIPPING

• Make your life easier and skip the lines! All you need to do is choose the packet shipping option during registration and we will have your race packet shipped directly to your front door for only $14.95! Your packet includes your race shirt, bib, and more! If you opt for packet shipping during registration, there is no requirement to attend packet pick up. Packet shipping is a convenient option for those with tight schedules. Please be sure to verify your mailing address during the registration process, as we are not responsible for misdirected packets. We will close packet mailing two weeks before the race, so be sure to sign up early! Packets will be shipped out ONE TO TWO weeks before the race.

Parking will be available in various parking garages or street parking around Grant Park.

We strongly encourage carpooling and taking public transportation as well as getting to the start line early, as there may be traffic. Allow sufficient time for heavy traffic congestion.

80s ROCK MUSIC

Everyone's favorite 80's Rock music will be played at the Start and Finish!

AWARDS

The Top Three (3) Male & Female Finishers in each age group and overall top three will receive a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place medal. Age groups are as follows: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over. Race Director reserves the right to combine age groups.

TIMING

The Bunny Rock 10k and 5k is an officially timed event using the disposable B-Tag timing system. Timing chips are attached directly to the back of your bib number and are to remain adhered for the duration of the event.

CHARITY

We’re proud to announce Red Door Animal Shelter as the official charity partner of the 2023 Bunny Rock Chicago! Red Door Animal Shelter is a no-kill shelter committed to helping animals in need. Its primary focus is on the rescue, shelter and adoption of cats, dogs and rabbits—the three most popular pets in the United States.

STROLLERS, DOGS, AND WALKERS

• Strollers are allowed, but we ask that you start in the back.
• While we LOVE your fur babies, we ask that they stay at home.
• We love our walkers! Walkers, runners, joggers are all welcome!

EGG DASH

• Egg Hunt is for children ages 2-10 with over 5000 filled eggs.
• Sections by ages
  • 2-3 YEAR OLDS
  • 4-5 YEAR OLDS
  • 6-7 YEAR OLDS
  • 8-10 YEAR OLDS
• The Kids Egg Dash isn't an exact distance. All kids will line up in their "age section" at the designated "egg hunt area" and "dash" to get eggs scattered all over Arvey Field (Grant Park).
• Egg Dash will start exactly at 10:30 for ALL AGES. Please be on time. 

PETTING ZOO

Huge live petting zoo with over 20 animals that include ducks, goats, lambs, donkeys, and more! 

REFUNDS

Since the Easter Bunny has many upfront costs, we have a strict and uniform policy of no refunds or exchanges, no person-to-person transfer, or no deferrals to a future year. We do understand that plans change, injuries happen, and various holiday festivities and situations arise, but, we feel it is most fair to apply a uniform policy to all, instead of a subjective line of who should receive a refund and who doesn’t. All purchases and sales are 100% final, no exceptions. Refunds will not be issued based on weather conditions. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

VIRTUAL BUNNY ROCK OPTIONS

Can't make it to the Bunny Rock In-Person? No worries! You can run it virtually! Run a 5k, by yourself or with a large group, in the location of your choice, at any time of the day. Same race. Same swag. Just Your Location!

How It Works

1. Register For the Virtual Bunny Rock® 10K or 5K – DOMESTIC ONLY.
2. You will receive your swag (Shirt, Bib, and Medal) in the mail
3. Run/Walk your race on any day.
4. Submit your results online
