2020 Chicago Triathlon SuperSprint & Kids Tri - UPDATE
The health and safety of our athletes, staff, volunteers, vendors, charity partners, and the broader community we serve is our top priority. Due to the significant impact COVID-19 continues to pose to our community, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 cbdMD Chicago Triathlon scheduled to take place August 29-30, 2020. Because of this unfortunate cancellation, we are offering the following options to all registered participants:
  1. Complimentary Deferral to the 2021 Chicago Triathlon SuperSprint & Kids Tri on August 28, 2021 + complimentary access to our Virtual Event. 
  2. Donate your entry fee to Chicago Public Schools' food program via Life Time Foundation + complimentary access to our Virtual Event.
  3. Get a Refund for your registration fee (less processing fees)
Please note: You must be logged in to your RunSignUp account to save your selection. You will NOT receive a confirmation once you submit. The selection tool is to gather the information. Once your selection is submitted, we will process your selection.  You may need to take further action based on the decision you make as outlined on the decision page.

Donate your entry fee to Chicago Public Schools' food program via the Life Time Foundation (your donation is 100% tax-deductible + complimentary access to our Virtual Event.

If your family doesn’t rely on school meals, you may not be aware of the heroic efforts of Chicago Public Schools’ nutrition professionals. When COVID-19 hit Chicago, the district’s School Lunch Heroes responded to school closures without hesitation committing to feed the children of our city through the unknowns of this health crisis. We applaud their commitment to feeding our children and encourage you to support them.

Please consider supporting CPS’ food service program, so they can continue to serve our children and so that they have the critical food safety equipment needed to safely deliver food to children who without school meals, may go hungry.

100% of your registration fee will be turned into a tax-deductible donation to the Life Time Foundation who will administer all proceeds – 100% benefitting Chicago Public Schools. You will receive an email from foundation@ltfoundation.org by August 11th providing an official gift receipt. The Life Time Foundation is a public charity 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, federal tax ID: 03-0533192

Every day, over 30 Million children rely on the National School Lunch Program – and this number is increasing as more families are in need. In response to COVID-19, school districts around the country stepped up to make sure that no child goes hungry during these very challenging times.

 

Refund of 2020 Chicago Triathlon SuperSprint & Kids Tri registration fee (less processing fee)

On average, it takes 10-15 business days for refunds to be processed but some banks may take longer. Please allow 10-25 business days for the credit to be posted to your account.

Description

The Life Time Kids Tri and Chicago SuperSprint races are both part of the Chicago Triathlon weekend. The Kids Tri is the perfect launching pad for a youngster to break into the sport. The SuperSprint is the perfect, short distance race for adults to experience triathlon. Both events are held on Saturday at Foster Beach, with a shallow swim in Lake Michigan. The bike and run take place on closed park roadways and running paths all along Chicago’s beautiful lakefront.
