Description
WHEATON, IL — Several road closures will take effect on April 22 for the Wheaton Outreach 5K Run, Walk and Wheel race.
Between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m., the following streets will be closed to traffic:
- Cross Street from Seminary Avenue to Franklin Street
- Franklin Street from Main Street to Washington Street
- Washington from between Franklin Street to Wesley Street
- Seminary from between Washington Street to President Street
- Wakeman from between President Street to Scott Street
- Scott Street from Wakeman Avenue to Franklin Street
Members of the Wheaton Police Department will be on hand to help redirect traffic.
Furthermore, we are excited to share with you the second annual Outreach 5K Run, Walk, and Wheel on Saturday, April 22, 2023. We will enjoy time with the entire Outreach family supporting the people we serve while we celebrate Outreach's 50th Anniversary.
We will also have family-friendly activities that will make this event a blast for the entire family! Everyone is invited to run, walk, and/or wheel (wheelchairs and strollers) as changing our community requires each of us to take steps forward to provide hope where barriers exist and a path toward independence for our neighbors.

The Wheaton Parking Garage, the Wheaton Public Library, and the streets of Wheaton.
