Description
The ongoing crisis in Ukraine has left countless people in dire need of humanitarian assistance. Millions of people are in need of urgent assistance, including food, medical aid, shelter, education, and more. The Run for Ukraine event aims to provide much-needed support to those affected by the conflict, helping them rebuild their lives and communities. We believe that together, we can make a significant difference and offer hope for a brighter future.
We are inviting you to join us for a one of a kind event - Run for Ukraine on September 23, 2023. You have many options to choose from:

In addition, we have set up donation tiers and encourage you to create your own fundraiser supporting your run.
Participant Giveaways, Medals and Rewards: All runners will receive a memorable dry-fit race t-shirt, a custom-designed medal as a symbol of their achievement and contribution to the Ukrainian cause. Additionally, top finishers in 5K Live Run and 1 Mile Live Run categories will receive special recognition and prizes.
Aid Stations: We will have volunteers along the route with water and first aid.
Charity Component: The proceeds from the race and donations will benefit Nova Ukraine - a 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine since 2014. The team at Nova Ukraine in the US, composed of professionals and committed volunteers, works diligently to assist the people of Ukraine. You can find annual reports and more details at www.NovaUkraine.org, where there’s also an option to sign up for updates via their newsletter.

Parking: Please use Dam No 1 Woods East Parking lot located South of Dundee Rd. There should be more than enough parking spaces:)

Enter on the south side of Dundee Road. Here is a Google link to the entrance:
When you enter drive about 1-mile south to the Start/Finish area. There are plenty of parking spots, so park whenever you feel you scored a good spot, then walk south. The Start/Finish are near Grove 2 (The far south end of the parking lot).
Course Map
This is a nice flat shady trail. There is one hill, well twice if you count the out and back... It's a cool bridge over Palatine Rd.
