FAQ
What if it's raining on race day?
Bring your umbrellas and raincoats because the race will go on, RAIN or SHINE but we're keeping our fingers crossed for SHINE!
Do we need to register children?
We do not currently offer youth sized shirts so if your child is 17 years old or under, you do not need to register them and are welcome to bring them along with you for the race. If you want your child to be timed for the 5K they WILL need to be registered (no matter what the age). For reference: If your child is over 10 years old, an adult small sized shirt will fit them slightly big/long.
What if I want to participate but can't walk four laps around the track?
The 1-mile fun walk is for all ages and abilities. Bring your kids in strollers, your family members in wheelchairs and do what you can. If your goal is one lap, then do that!
What if I can't physically participate in the race or walk?
We encourage you still to come out and support your family and friends who are participating in the race. We have lots of seating to watch from including handicap accessible bleachers and picnic tables near the start/finish line.
Can I bring my dog to the race?
While leashed dogs are welcome in the city park and around the 5K course, the school has asked us to limit dogs on the school track and surrounding school areas due to the increased amount of people and safety. Thank you for understanding.
Will there be snacks and drinks?
Sutton's Deli has graciously offered to donate drinks and snacks for the race that day. Tom's Coffee Cart will also be joining us and drinks will be available for purchase.
5K Run/Walk Course Map
The 5K course will leave the Angola Middle School track and go through the city park, loop around a few of the city blocks and come back through the city park walking path. When returning to the Middle School the course will go IN FRONT of the middle school and finish back on the track.
A map will be available once the course distance is verified.
