Description
We all need some motivation right now, so let’s come together as a community and encourage each other! Running is NOT cancelled.
Let’s get out there and move, while social distancing of course. Join us in our effort to keep people moving. Race virtually for a 4 Miler, 10K, or Half Marathon!
This will be a truly unique virtual running experience for residents of Fort Wayne. Run or walk your chosen distance anytime between May 2nd and May 9th on a designed course. We will be using the timing app Race Joy to keep you on course, give you turn by turn directions, and give you a live virtual leader board throughout the week. All to make our virtual run feel as close as possible to a live race experience.
A $10 Fleet Feet gift card will be awarded for overall male, overall female, male masters, and female masters for each distance. Prizes will also be awarded for most creative social media post, most creative race shirt, and most creative medal design. Complete all 3 races to receive a Running is Not Cancelled Fleet Feet T-Shirt! The shirt will be mailed to you after the race.
Proceeds from the race will be donated to The Community Harvest Foodbank.
