Description

The Vincennes Historical Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Free Kids Fun Run is the newest premier racing event taking place on April 26th in Vincennes, IN. This community-focused race showcases the rich history and scenic charm of Indiana's oldest city. Participants of all skill levels can all play their part in running for a better future of the Vincennes community. Organized by the Rotary Young Leaders of Vincennes, the earnings from this race go towards quarterly grants for local non-profits, scholarships and city improvement projects.

The race courses wind through historic landmarks, including George Rogers Clark National Historic Park, the Wabash River, Grouseland, and other iconic sites, offering runners and walkers a chance to connect with the area's deep historic roots while enjoying a well-organizaed and welcoming event.

Perfect for avid runners, casual walkers and families, the event provides a memorable experience for all ages. Whether you're chasing a personal best, taking in the scenery, or introducing your kids to the joy of running, the Vincennes Historical Half Marathon promises a day of fitness, fun and community spirit.

Events happening on Saturday, April 26th in Vincennes, IN: 

  • Spectator Alley: Pop-Up Beer Garden. Pocket Park at 416 Main St. from 11am-2pm in the middle of historic Downtown Vincennes. $8 Pre-sale/$10 Gate Cover
  • Shuck and Suck Crawfish Boil, 6pm at Highland Community Center. Tickets at the Door. Enjoy an authentic Louisiana Crawfish Boil, with live music and a cash bar.
