Come enjoy the region's most scenic road race and enjoyable post-race parties! The Speedy Pd Race for Parkinson's disease is the primary event to benefit the Meadowlark Parkinson's Program. The Meadowlark Parkinson's Program provides free services for those in the Flint Hills and beyond! Programming includes exercise, education, and outreach to improve the quality of life for all those affected by Parkinson’s disease including patients, caregivers, therapists, and nurses.
This is the 13th year for the Speedy Pd Race for Parkinson's and we are excited to be back IN-PERSON for a LIVE running of the USATF Certified 5k (3.1 miles) and 10k (6.2 miles) courses set in the beautiful Tuttle Creek State Park in Manhattan, Kansas. The 5K and 10K will start at 8 am. This year we are revamping our 1/2-mile event a little to honor all those we have lost to Parkinson's. This event is now the Pd Memorial Walk/Run.
