Description
This run/walk will kick off the Lexington Week of Valor and all proceeds will go to the Fisher House, a comfort home where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment at the Lexington Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The race course winds through the beautiful grounds of the medical center on Leestown Road. Sponsors include is sponsored by the Lexington Division of Community Corrections and Columbia Gas of Kentucky and its NiVets employee resource group.

Registration is open through Oct. 29 at Active.com. Registration with cash or check will be available
from Oct. 30- Nov. 3 at Columbia Gas of Kentucky from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
On race day, registration will be in the Columbia Gas parking lot from 10-11:30 a.m. with shuttle service to the medical center. Checks should be made out to Lady Veterans Connect with “VA5K” in the memo. To register via mail, send payments to Columbia Gas of Kentucky, 2001 Mercer Rd., Lexington, KY. 40511.
