The 11th annual Grin & Bear It 5k & 10k & ½ Mile Kid’s Fun Run will take place on October 14th at Poverty Point Reservoir in Delhi, Louisiana. We are excited to welcome our community back to the Grin & Bear It Race! Come enjoy this beautiful scenic run.

Monies raised will go toward future health screenings through Delhi Hospital & Clinic’s Community Wellness & Prevention Program.  

 

Distances: 5K, 10K and ½ Mile Kid’s Fun Run

 

Time:    6:30 AM - Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup
              7:45 AM - ½ Mile Kid’s Fun Run
              8:00 AM - 5K/10K run

 

Post-Race Party: Be sure to stay after the race for refreshments, music & awards presentation!

 

Registration Fees:

 

$20 through October 13th

$25 Race Day

 

All kids 10 & under run free for the 1/2 mile fun run. 

Children’s tees are $10 for the fun run and Adult tees are $15 & must register early to ensure shirt availability.

 

Adults & kids will receive a t-shirt with their registration for the 5K & 10K if you register by October 4th!

 

REGISTER EARLY! Shirts NOT guaranteed to late registrants (after October 4th).

 

Packet Pickup (Location, Date & Time):

Packet pick-up on Friday, October 13th from 11am-5 pm at the White house across from the Delhi Hospital Classroom & at the race site on Saturday, October 14th beginning at 6:30 am.

 

Age Groups:  5K & 10K:   12 and under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+

 

Awards:

 $100 Visa Gift Card for top runners:

        5K Overall Female

        5K Overall Male

      10K Overall Female

       10K Overall Male

 

Medals:
1st, 2nd & 3rd place runners in each age group, Male & Female, 5K & 10K, will receive a medal.

 

All of the kiddos in the Kids Fun Run will also receive a medal as they cross the finish line!
