What Do I Get?
Each registrant will receive the following items:
A long-sleeve Under Armour technical race shirt available in gender-specific cuts.
Individual registrants will receive a colored swim cap with the Baltimore Triathlon logo that corresponds to their wave group. For relays, the swim leg will receive the swim cap. Participants must wear the provided swim cap during the race.
In addition to body marking, each participant will receive a helmet number, bike number, and bib number. The bib number is only required for the run portion, and must be worn on the front of the body and visible at all times.
All participants in the individual and relay races will receive a Baltimore Triathlon finisher’s medal upon completion of the race.
POST-RACE FOOD & DRINK
Participants are encouraged to stick around after the races for complimentary food and refreshments, including bagels, fruit, and delicious options from local vendors
Water temperatures at Hammerman Beach have historically hovered around 70 degrees at the end of September, and we expect that the race will be wetsuit legal. A final measurement will be taken the morning of the race, and results communicated to all athletes at the pre-race meeting.
Volunteers are critical to making an event fun, safe, and enjoyable for athletes and spectators. We rely heavily on volunteer support, and are always looking for folks who don’t mind waking up early and lending a hand. If you’d like to volunteer at the Baltimore Triathlon, we’ll make it worth your while with an event volunteer shirt, coffee, and other goodies.

In the event of inclement weather or other unavoidable circumstances, The Baltimore Triathlon reserves the right to modify or cancel any portion of the race that is deemed unsafe for participants.
To ensure participant safety and minimize impact on the surrounding communities, the Baltimore Triathlon has established course cutoffs for the races in coordination with the Baltimore County Police Department. All cyclists MUST be off of the road by 10:00 AM. This gives sprint participants approximately 2 hours to complete the 750m swim, transition 1, and the 13.8 mile bike course (based on an 8:00 AM wave start).
Race officials reserve the right to pull any participant from the course who is not making satisfactory progress on the course, or is considered a danger to themselves or others.
