What it is
October 10 is World Mental Health Day AND Still I Run's 7th birthday! To bring more awareness to mental health issues and celebrate our birthday, we host a 5K running event every year. Last year we offered the option of a virtual or in-person event thanks to some of our awesome Run Chapters. We're excited to be bringing both options back again this year!
Your Two Options
Virtual - By now you're probably familiar with the virtual option! Just choose the Virtual 5K Walk/Run and we'll ship your gear to you. If you register before September 22, we'll get your gear to you before October 7. Then on October 7, you complete your miles in your area!
In-Person - Back by popular demand, we're offering folks the opportunity to run their 5K distance with a group in select areas around the country! Because we want to focus more on being together and movement for mental health, these in-person gatherings will be a group run and NOT a race. Each group run will have a designated location, route, and start time. That information is available on the in-person events page.
What You Get

- The satisfaction of knowing you're supporting Still I Run's mission to promote the benefits of running for mental health!
While each registration does earn one raffle ticket, you can donate for more tickets, which increases your chance to win! Each $5 donation to Still I Run = 1 more raffle ticket! (ex. Register yourself + $10 SIR donation = 3 raffle tickets)!
Important Deadlines/Dates
- Tuesday, August 15- Last day to guarantee your sock size. After this date, we'll do our best to ship the size you request but remaining sizes will be on a first come first served basis.
- Friday, September 22 - Last day to have race goodies mailed to you before race weekend
- Friday, September 22 - Last day to have your name entered in our fabulous raffle (we'll ship raffle winners their prizes along with their race swag)
- Friday, October 6 - Registration closes
