The Tower Guard class of 2000 founded the Shamrock 5k Run – Walk – Roll as an annual event to raise funds for the Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities. This year we carry on the tradition and are hosting the 20th Annual Shamrock 5k on March 14, 2020 at 10:00 am at the MSU Auditorium, located on the Michigan State University campus in East Lansing, Michigan.
Tower Guard is a sophomore honor society dedicated to assisting students with disabilities at Michigan State University by reading and transcribing textbooks and exams, assisting with class and laboratory work, and providing campus orientation, among many other things. We volunteer under the direction of the RCPD, which functions to provide technical assistance, auxiliary services, and training to our volunteers and students with disabilities.

Ramp 2 is located behind Bessey Hall and Lot 9 is located next to Giltner Hall; both of which are less than a 5 minute walk from the Auditorium.
You are welcome to pick up your packet at Playmakers in Okemos (just 1.5 miles east of campus) on Friday, March 13th from 6-8 p.m. to streamline the process. We encourage local participants to take advantage of this opportunity, with the anticipation of Saturday morning being very busy.
