The Brückeläufe is German for the Bridge Race, with a half marathon distance serving as an ideal prep race for any marathon runners and a 5K course offering a scenic fall tour through Michigan's Little Bavaria. The Brückeläufe is a USATF-certified event that begins and ends at Heritage Park in Frankenmuth. It is hosted by the Frankenmuth Jaycees, and all proceeds go to charitable causes.
2019 marks the seventh year for the Frankenmuth Jaycees Race Series, which includes the Winterläufe, Volksläufe and Brückeläufe races. If you participate in all 3 races, you will be awarded a specially-designed finishers medallion at this year's Brückeläufe Awards Ceremony.

Frequently Asked Questions:
When is the cut off for shirts: Anyone registered by September 30th is guaranteed a race shirt. However, we do order more shirts than we have taken registrations for. Be aware, due to the need to ship and print shirts in time for the race, our order is an estimate of what we might need for our late registration guests on race day. For that reason, only those that register by September 30th are guaranteed a race shirt. If you just love shirts and would be sad to not receive one, our advice would be to come to packet pickup as early as possible to increase your chances of snagging an extra shirt-we like happy runners!
Can I run with my dog or stroller: Participants can run with a stroller but we ask that you position yourself at the back of the pack. Unfortunately, our insurance company no longer advises we have pets on the course. The Bruckelaufe loves animals but asks that you not bring your animals on the course.
I see you have gone paperless, how do I register without using my credit card? On-site registration will be accepting cash payment.
Packet Pick Up/Late Registration
Packet Pickup and late registration is from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, October 4th and starts again at 7:00 A.M. on race day.
Runners can register for a race until 30 minutes before race start time.
