Imlay City Rotary 5K

Join us Friday night for the Imlay City Rotary 5K. Those who chose to walk will begin at 6:30 and will be followed by the runners at 7:00. This event was formerly held during the Blueberry Festival, and is now part of the new Michigan Buskerfest. This is our second year for the new race and we hope to make it more exciting for each participant! Following last years lead, participants can either use their race bib tag for a complimentary beverage or as a raffle entry. Come for the race and be sure to leave time to enjoy the Busker performances! Pre-registered runners will receive a T-Shirt to proudly display their participation and support for Rotary projects! Sign up before May 31st to guarantee you'll receive a shirt. Race awards will be given out for best finish time to the top 3 male and female runners overall. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female runners in each age bracket.

This year's race will start and end at Grettenberger field (next to Imlay City Middle School). We will follow 2nd street to Almont Avenue at which point we will follow the previous course to 4th street. Once racers reach 4th street we will turn on Handley. Follow Handley to Pine and Pine to 1st street. We will then follow 1st street back to Grettenberger field. Grettenberger field will provide plenty of close parking with close walking distance to downtown after the race.
