The race date has changed to coincide with the Oktoberfest weekend festivities at Grand River Brewery. including the 313 Polish Lager Beer Mile (to be held approximately 1 hour after our race) This year's race will be held Saturday September 24th.
Race description for 2022:
The ORS Oktoberfest 10K/5K event hosted by Grand River Brewery will start and finish around the Michigan Theatre. With construction we have had to be creative with our course to keep us downtown, and we have done it!
We are really excited to have the race in conjunction with the Oktoberfest activities that Grand River has planned and encourage participants to stick around post-race to enjoy those events. With the true Oktoberfest theme, we have updated our prizing not only for the adults but for the kids run.
Post-Race Breakfast will be provided for full registration participants (the tear away tab on the participant bib will be used as you ticket for the breakfast)
Live DJ Chere Pepper will be on site to provide music and help host both our race and the Beer Mile!
