Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists Oktoberfest 10K/5K, Kids Superhero Run

Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists, PC is partnering with MK Jetting and Televising to put on the 2024 ORS Oktoberfest 10k / 5K, Kids Superhero Run.  This race has changed locations and time of year over its tenure but ORS is proud to be offering this community event for over 30 years!

We are changing locations!!!!  Why not???!!  This year's festivities will be held at Consumer's Energy Headquarters, 1Energy Plaza.  With the wide-open spaces, public parking structures adjacent, AND the City of Jackson trail systems it is a win from a safety and experience aspect.  

This year's courses will take participants along the City of Jackson, Parks and Recreation Trail System and will finish at Consumer’s Energy 1 Energy Plaza. A post-race breakfast will be made on site by Doll n Burger's chefs. The kids Superhero Run is a fan favorite where costumes are encouraged.  Children 10 and under will join adult superhero’s (Superhero’s Unite) for a fun run, will a villain be found? 

DJ Chere Pepper (cherepepper.com) will be on site again this year to provide announcements, and music throughout the event!

All Oktoberfest participants will receive post-race re-fueling ON-SITE by Doll n Burgers!!

Pricing:  $35 until 9/15, then $40. Friends/Family discount $5/person when registering 3 or more people at the same time. 

Overall Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers of Open (all ages), and Masters (40+), in the 5k Run, and 5k Walk.

Age Groups Awards to the top 3 places in each age group:

5k Run age groups: 0-12, 13-14, 15-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69. 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+

5k Walk age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Early Packet Pick-Up will be Friday September 27th 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Grand River Brewery in the Barrel Room, who is also planning some awesome specials that night for our race participants!!!!!  Come pick up your race bib and goodies, stick around for live music and pre-race fueling specials offered by Grand River Brewery!!!  Start the Oktoberfest festivities early.

Race Day Packet Pick-Up will be from 7:30 am - 8:45 am at Consumer's Energy Headquarters.  1 Energy Plaza.  All pre and post-race events will take place on the Plaza in front of the old post office, now Consumer's Energy Headquarters.
