The 30th Annual Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists ORS OktoberFest 8k/5k Run/Walk will be back in 2021!
Race description for 2021:
The ORS OktoberFest 8k/5k event sponsored by Consumer's Energy and hosted by Grand River Brewery will start and finish at Grand River Brewery. The course includes the Armory Arts Trail, Jackson High campus, the historic prison, and various streets of downtown. Both the 8k and 5k courses are USATF certified. Grand River Brewery will be opening at 8:00 am to accommodate the participant's family and friends with the breakfast menu including the famous GRB Bloody Mary Bar.
ALL full price registered participants will receive a Grand River Brewery breakfast ticket and an ORS race shirt. Race Shirts will be guaranteed if registered by October 10th, 2021. If registered after October 10, 2021 shirts will be distributed as supplies last.
Be sure to preregister! There is no race day registration.
Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers of Open, Grandmasters and Masters Divisions in the 8k Run, 5k Run, and 5k Walk, as well as the top three finishers in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-66, 67+.
Packet pick up will take place Friday October 22 at Grand River Brewery between 4 pm- 8 pm with educational presentation from 5:30-6:30 pm with guest speakers (more information to follow) - we will be stationed in the Farmer's Market Pavilion if weather allows, if inclement weather we will be stationed just inside Grand River Brewery.

The Series’ mission is to provide incentives and opportunities for Jackson and surrounding communities to get fit and active.
