Michigan Runner Girl Races

The MRG Race Group is prioritizing the prevention and spread of infection and keeping the community healthy and safe. As a result, the 2020 MRG Races have been canceled. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. We’ve learned from the spread of COVID-19 in communities across the nation and abroad that social distancing and reducing person-to-person contact are effective means of prevention. We believe canceling large events such as the MRG Races is one of the best actions we can take to slow the spread of COVID-19 within our community. Canceling the event is consistent with Michigan Department of Health and Human Services recommendations for COVID-19 community mitigation strategies. We thank our race participants, local and regional running community, and volunteers for their support and understanding as we take measures to keep the community safe.
