What is Operation Safe at Home?
Regardless of who our clients are or where they are in their journey, we remain committed to removing barriers from their immediate and long-term pathways. We need your help to do this. Grace House is our newest program designed to facilitate the journey of each client, as individuals, wherever they might be on that road. Grace House is a 24-hour, low-barrier, safe haven for men and women. A safe haven is a place for unhoused individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness that may deter or affect their ability to remain in traditional, long-term shelters. This is a safe space before a shelter or permanent housing. Every day 25 individuals are welcomed inside, out of the harsh weather. They are given warm meals, a safe place to sleep, and receive assistance with services and benefits.
