SMCC PTK’s Kalli’s KaleidoscopeVirtual 5K walk/run

SMCC PTK’s  KaleidoscopeVirtual 5K walk/run.

This virtual 5K run/walk is raising money for the non-profit Kalli’s Kaleidoscope to support their mission of addiction awareness.  Kalli’s Case, Brookhaven native, lost her battle of addiction in January 2020.  This non-profit named after her is an effort to dismantle the stigma of addiction, raise awareness of addiction, and support efforts to combat the drug epidemic in the state of Mississippi.  

5K equals 3.10 miles, which represents the approximate 310 people in the state of Mississippi who lose their life to addiction every year. 

SMCC Phi Theta Kappa members are sponsoring this event in honor of Kalli’s; they will use this platform to raise awareness on the SMCC campus and raise money for Kalli’s Kaleidoscope.  

You complete your 5K distance on your own time at any location you choose between December 1-31st.
