Let Me Run Back to School 5K Presented by BODYARMOR

Join Let Me Run for our Back to School Virtual 5K presented by BODYARMOR from August 14 - 16. Register to run or walk our 5K in the location of your choice to be part of the movement to raise awareness and funds for our program. We’re working to build a new generation of men by teaching boys to be their best selves through a character-development program powered through running. 

How It Works: 

Let Me Run’s Back to School Virtual 5K will take place at the location of your choice on Friday, August 14; Saturday, August 15; or Sunday, August 16. Since this is a virtual event without bibs or formal timing systems, we will go on the honor system for results uploaded to the RunSignUp website, but we've also created a Facebook Group for you to post your run or photo of your accomplishment. 

Registration Fee & What You Get: 

Registration is $40 per person and is partially tax deductible. All participants receive a pair of Feetures High Performance Cushion No Show Tab socks and a race bib. In addition to the socks, your registration fee goes directly to support Let Me Run's work to develop healthy boys in our communities.  Wear your race bib on your run and share a photo of yourself in it on our Facebook group! You are welcomed and encouraged to use RunSignUp’s peer-to-peer fundraising options during your virtual 5K to support our organization further - and potentially win LMR swag!

Uploading Your Results: 

You will not have to submit your time or evidence of you running or walking.  However, you will only be entered to win the age category prizes if you upload your results to RunSignUp. RunSignUp's step by step guide for entering your results can be accessed here. 

The female and male with the best time in each age category will win a LMR swag bag which includes a hat, quarter zip, and car magnet. We will also award the overall male and female winner with a $100 gift card to Running Warehouse or a local running company. 

The age categories for both men and women are: 
10 & Under
11 - 19 
20 - 29
30 - 39
40 - 49
50 - 59
60+

Drink BODYARMOR Contest:

Enter our random contest for a chance to win a $70 BODYARMOR swag pack.  Upload a photo of yourself to our Facebook Group between August 7 and August 12 with a bottle of BODYARMOR after a run and tag @DrinkBODYARMOR. Three (3) random winners will be selected to win a BODYARMOR swag pack which includes a BODYARMOR branded mask, performance branded crew socks, popsocket, silicone smart wallet, sunglasses, hat, and towel. Fundraising:

Join us from now through the virtual 5K weekend to raise funds and awareness of Let Me Run. You will be automatically enrolled in RunSignUp’s peer-to-peer fundraising platform at the time of registration. The platform tracks how much you’ve raised for Let Me Run. A step by step guide for how to access your fundraising page can be accessed here. The top fundraiser will also be awarded a LMR swag bag which includes a hat, quarter zip, and car magnet.

The funds you raise enables LMR to fulfill our mission to build a new generation of men by teaching boys to be their best selves through our character-development program powered by running. We are the only national program using running to directly teach boys about healthy masculinity.
