Tiger Day 5K - Virtual Fun Run

Join Carolina Tiger Rescue for the 4th Annual Tiger Day 5K Virtual Fun-Run, with all proceeds benefiting the amazing animals who call the sanctuary home!

• Race Shirt - you may select to pick up your shirt at several locations OR you can have your shirt mailed directly to you!
• Digital Bib - just download and print!
• Swag Bag - you never know what you might get...but we hear we have great swag!

Run Anywhere.

Since Tiger Day 5K is virtual, you can run anywhere!  Recruit your friends and family to join the fun no matter where they live. 

Run Anytime.

This year, we are kicking off the Tiger Day 5K on International Tiger Day!  However, you can pick up your t-shirt ahead of time at!

• Friday, July 28 at Big Frog in Durham:  get your t-shirt first and check out the cool shirts by Big Frog!
• Saturday, July 29 at Carolina Tiger Rescue: check-in and enjoy some fun International Tiger Day activities as well.  While at the sanctuary, you can get your tour tickets to see the cats by clicking HERE.

Then, complete your Tiger Day 5K anytime between July 29 and August 6!  We will not be doing a formal Zoom after-party - but check your email for a fun wrap-up video of team photos, totals, and some of your favorite cats! 

Recruit friends and family far and wide!  

Recruit your friends, family, running club, book club members, etc.!  Teams that run together have fun together!

• Create a team to easily track and communicate with your team!
• Recruit your friends, family, running club, book club members, etc.!  
• Register a team of 5+ people, and you could win a private tour valued at $500!

You can also create a fundraiser.

Do you want to take your Tiger Day 5K experience to the next level by raising money for the cats?  You can set an individual goal or a team goal for fundraising! Then send out emails, texts, or posts on social media asking friends to support the cats!  It's easy!

Share your Results.

While this is a fun run, you can still post your times.  More importantly, share a selfie and send it to Carolina Tiger Rescue - you can also use the hashtag #TigerDay5K on social media!
