The 3-2-1 Deacon Dash for Down Syndrome is a 5K race fundraising event with an extra .11 mile added for a 3.21 total distance for the awareness and support of individuals with Down syndrome! Most people have 2 copies of 23 different chromosomes, but individuals with Down syndrome are born with 3 copies of the 21st chromosome (the medical term for this is Trisomy 21). This year our race is virtual. You can run your 5k or Fun Run anytime and anywhere March 14 through March 21.
We will host two t-shirt pick-ups at Omega Sports in Thruway.
You can pick up your t-shirt outside the Omega Sports on Friday, March 12 from 1-3 p.m. or Friday, March 19 from 4-6 p.m.
