Read to raise a playground!

Help the PTA raise donations for new playground equipment. The PTA has been working hard to make improvements to our PES playground. Our plan is to continue to add and replace equipment to enhance our playground for our students. We are asking students and parents to help us collect donations to help this effort.

Here's how it works:

As a school we have pledged to read 100,000 minutes and raise $30,000! Help us meet our goal and raise donations for the PTA on the way.

1. Sign up under your teacher.
2. Write your bio and make a personal reading goal of how many minutes you'll read over the course of the event.
3. Share with friends and family and ask for donations as you work toward your reading goal.
4. Get reading! Reading can be done independently, with a parent or sibling, you can even read to your pet!
5. Log in your reading minutes regularly.

Let the competition begin. The event will run from 11/21-12/6.

What class will read the most minutes in the school? What grade will earn the honor of most reading minutes? Which class or grade will help raise the most money towards new playground equipment? Who will be the top reader in the whole school?
