Thank you for your support of Alternatives, Inc. While we will not be holding the Dignity Dash this year, our mission continues every day. We invite you to support Alternatives in other meaningful ways — by making a donation, starting a fundraiser, volunteering, or learning more about our work serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and families experiencing homelessness.

A Message to Our Supporters
The Dignity Dash will not be held in 2026.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has participated in, sponsored, volunteered for, and cheered on this event over the years. Your support has helped Alternatives provide housing, care, and life-changing services for people in our community.
Although the Dash is paused, there are still many ways to stand with Alternatives:

Our Mission
Alternatives, Inc. provides comprehensive services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, those with mental health diagnoses, as well as individuals and families experiencing homelessness, to enable them to reach their highest level of independence and integration in the community. We are committed to being the human services agency of choice in providing residential and support services to people in the Greater Central New Jersey community.
Our person-centered philosophy is dedicated to providing each person served the support they need to assist them in achieving their goals. No matter what challenges you may face, Alternatives will develop an individualized plan to help you on your journey as an active member of our community.

The Dignity Dash Group is a members only support/online resource page, which offers those who are training for the Alternatives, Inc. Dignity Dash or are thinking of joining our merry band an outlet to Toot Your Own Horn as you conquer milestones, ask for support when every step is a challenge or offer encouragement as we travel this road to the Dash. Be sure to use #dignitydash wherever you can!
This group was created to serve as an open forum where kindness rules and where those who are supportive of Alternatives and each other come together as a community to offer encouragement.
