Description
The 5th annual Rabbit Run presented by Ace Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical will take place on Saturday, April 4th, 2026 at the Los Poblanos Open Space, Albuquerque, NM.
Join the most vibrant event in town this EASTER weekend!
EVENTS:

5K RUN/WALK: open to anyone, all registrants receive a custom hat (first 300 registered guaranteed), and once finished, a medal. It's professionally chip-timed.

1MILE: new addition to the Rabbit Run, open to anyone, all registrants receive a custom hat, and once finished, a medal. It's professionally chip-timed.

EGG HUNT sponsored by EZEE FIBER: For kids 12yo and under only. We will hide 2000 (UPDATE: 2500) easter eggs stuffed with candy throughout the Los Poblanos Open Space. In intervals based on their age, we will let the kids go and hunt the eggs. There will be 1 GOLDEN EGG that can be redeemed for a big surprise in the ACE tent.
We will hide 3 big easter eggs along the 5k /1mile course, so pay attention along the way. More tips will be available closer to the event.
Bring along your partner, friend, child, neighbor, workmate, boss, or anyone deserving of some Easter fun! Referrals are now available.
Special prize for the best Easter-themed costume!
Strollers and dogs are welcome!
The event will feature on-site free photographer, music, snacks, and more!
UPDATE:
PACKET PICK-UP WILL TAKE PLACE ON FRIDAY, APRIL 3RD, 2026, from 3-6pm. We recommend this option for all runners; we expect more than 300 of you. Free Dilly Bar with your bib number.
No packet pickup for the egg hunt.

5k Race Awards (Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female in the following age categories: 0–11, 12–15, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60+
The overall top 3 female and male winners will get additional prizes

Restrooms are located in the parking lot southwest of the start line.

There is limited parking. An additional overflow parking option is on the dirt road next to the staging area.
