International travel may be restricted but don't let that stop you from crossing the border Virtually in this awesome Virtual Mileage challenge.  The challenge may be virtual but the running is real! You will also be helping us be able to donate to two great charities in Special Olympics and Ronald McDonald House.  For more info on donations and the charities click the "Donate" button. 

You have until July 31st to register but the challenge starts July 1st.  Miles can be added retroactively from July 1st no matter when you register.  There is a team category and we strongly encourage you to tag your friends and join a team!

Run, Walk or Cycle the distance from the Historic Lighthouse in Montauk at the tip of Long Island NY North along the Hudson River to the Lookout at the Top of Mount Royal Park in Montreal Canada.  Passing historic landmarks and towns in this 525 mile journey.  You can also run up and back for a total of 1050 miles or if those distances are too much you can do 225 miles over the same time frame.  Make those training miles count for something this summer and help support some great charities in the process.  You can even use the same miles if you are doing another challenge.  Same running, more bling! 

There are a lot of challenges out there right now but we hope you find this unique.  And this one is in miles not KM's (but we will show the conversion for all you metric folks).  These are attainable distances with the weekly totals being about 25 miles (40km) for the 525 mile and 47 miles (75km) a week for the 1050.  Need a little bit less of a challenge?  You can run the Capital to Canada Challenge at 225 miles which is less than 11 miles a week (17.5km).  These miles can be running or walking miles- road, trail, or treadmill etc....  Please NO bike miles for the running event-  but wait....

Are you a CYCLIST??  You can sign up for the cycling challenge for any of the 525 mile, 1050 or 225 distances. Duathlete? Get s discount if you sign up for a bike and a run and get extra stuff.

You have 21.5 weeks to complete the challenge.  The challenge starts on July 1st and runs to November 27th. 

ALL RUNNERS AND RIDERS GET A NICE 1/4 ZIP SHIRT and an OVERSIZED MEDAL.  This is a 1/4 Zip you can used all fall and winter and great for running or biking.
