Description
The Sayville Running Company 10 Mile Run to the Blue Point Brewery boasts a scenic, flat USATF certified course, and the best post race celebration on Long Island. Participants will race ten miles and then enjoy a variety of complimentary Blue Point beer, post-race food, and live music from Soundswell.

Awards
Top 3 Male/Female for Open and Masters will receive a custom gift set from Blue Point Brewery
Top 3 Male/Female in each of the following age groups: 21-24, and 5 year groups from 25-29 to 80+
Top Male/Female Wheelchair Racers
The awards ceremony will take place in a heated tent on the brewery grounds.
Training Runs
Sayville Running Company will be hosting 4 free training runs leading up to the race. Participants will meet at the store, go for a run, and finish at a local Sayville pub that serves Blue Point Beer. The first beer will be on the house.
Please join us on: 10/19/23, 11/21/23, 12/14/23, and 1/4/24 at 6 pm at 19 Main Street, Sayville.
Fundraising Options
Optional: Create an individual fundraiser when you register and get a custom fundraising link to share with friends and family. Choose to raise funds for any of our beneficiaries.
FUNDRAISING INCENTIVE -
RUN FOR FREE:
- Individiual fundraisers will be refunded their entry fee if they raise $300 for one of our charitable beneficiaries before January 13, 2023 (Original method of payment will be refunded by the race in 3-5 business days).
- Virtual entrants will be refunded their entry fee if they raise $150 for one of our charitable beneficiaries before January 13, 2023. (Original method of payment will be refunded by the race in 3-5 business days).
Charitable Beneficiaries
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center - In memory of Ric Diveglio, who dreamed up this event and directed it for years: It is the wish of the Diveglio Family that we honor Ric's memory by choosing Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a charitable beneficiary. The Diveglios credit the fabulous care at MSKCC to the extra time they were able to spend with Ric over the last decade, and they want to make sure that other families get to spend as much time with their critically ill loved ones as they can, too.
Patchogue Medford Youth & Community Services: Enhance the quality of life for families of the local communities through outreach, education, recreation, counseling, and support services.
William's Warriors: To defeat Childhood Cancer through Awareness, Advocacy and Support.

Packet Pickup
Packet pickup will be available from Wednesday through Friday before the event at Sayville Running Company (19 Main St. Sayville)
Wednesday, January 10th - 12:00pm to 7:00pm
Thursday, January 11th - 12:00pm to 7:00pm
Friday, January 12th - 12:00pm to 6:00pm
Bibs will also be available at the Blue Point Brewery on race day morning
Day of Race - 6:45am to 8:00am in the tent at Blue Point Brewery
Parking
See the map below for approved parking areas. Please be respectful to Blue Point's neighbors and the surrounding community, and do not park outside of these areas.
Time Limit/Cutoff Time
Please note that there is a 2 hour and 15 minute cutoff time. You must be able to finish the 10 mile course in this time, or you will be asked to move to the side of the road without traffic safety support and will not be given a finish time. Our permit only allows us to close the roads until 10:30am.
