If you're serious about training for and completing a half or full marathon, join the region's premier training program that has helped thousands of runners & walkers reach their goals! Our trained coaches offer the support and motivation needed to keep you going. With 16 different pace groups and 4 different training options, a speed only option and/or a long run only option there is a program suited for every participant - whether this is your first marathon or you're trying to qualify for Boston.
Start date for all programs is: Thursday, June 18, 2020 @ Ridgeway (2522 Ridgeway Ave.) at 6PM.
Join us for a FREE informational session on Thursday, June 11th from 6-7pm at the Armory. Durning this 45 minute session you will meet the staff and learn about the training options and program benefits.
13.1 Finish - Beginner Half training perfect for beginners that have never run a Half Marathon and are on the lower end of the required base mileage. Required base mileage 10 – 12 miles per week. This program meets Thursdays at 6PM for Speed Workouts AND Saturdays at 7AM for Paced Long Runs, plus you'll get a training schedule to follow and more hands on coaching.
13.1 Fast - Advanced Half training for those who have already completed a Half Marathon and are looking to improve performance and speed. Required base mileage 13 – 15 miles per week. This program meets Thursdays at 6PM for Speed Workouts AND Saturdays at 7AM for Paced Long Runs, plus you'll get a training schedule to follow and more hands on coaching.
26.2 Finish - Beginner Full training ideal for the runner who has never completed a Full Marathon, and is on the lower end of the required base mileage. Required base mileage 20 – 25 miles per week. This program meets Thursdays at 6PM for Speed Workouts AND Saturdays at 7AM for Paced Long Runs, plus you'll get a training schedule to follow and more hands on coaching.
26.2 Fast - Advanced Full training designed to help those who have already completed a Full Marathon, but want to improve their performance and speed. Required base mileage 20 – 25 miles per week. This program meets Thursdays at 6PM for Speed Workouts AND Saturdays at 7AM for Paced Long Runs, plus you'll get a training schedule to follow and more hands on coaching.
Speed Play: Our Speed Play provides an opportunity to join the Half and Full Marathon training speed workouts on Thursdays at 6PM. If you only need speed training this is the BEST program to enhance your speed. These speed workouts are focused on individuals running between 10-35 miles per week.
Pace Pass: Our Pace Pass provides a unique opportunity for you to train with our Half and Full Marathon Training participants on Saturdays for long runs. We offer 15 different pace groups and offer up to four different mileage options each week. The distances begin at 5 or 8 miles on the first Saturday of each session and will gradually increase as you train towards regional events including: Rochester Regional Health Flower City Half Marathon, Rochester Marathon and the Winter Warrior Half Marathon.
