Description
Twenty Kilometer Road Race Vestal, New York. This is the oldest race in New York State's southern tier with roots back to the 1930s. The photo at the top of this page was taken in the first race in 1971. To Celebrate the 50th Anniversary, the race entry feel will only be $1. This is to honor the original price of the VXX 50 years ago! There will also be commemorative T-Shirts for each runner and an Ice Cream Truck to help beat the heat.
This is one of the most challenging road races in New York State. To honor the challenge and extremely fast times ran on this course over its history prize money will be awarded for the top three men and woman. As part of the races history Age Graded scoring will continue and gift cards will be awarded to Age Graded winners.

There will be an early start for those runners who do not expect to complete the race in less than two hours and fifteen minutes. The spirit of the early start is to allow slower runners to finish with the pack and join in with the post-race festivities. To participate, sign up at the registration table on race day by 7:10 AM for the 7:30 AM start. Please note that early starters are not eligible for awards.
There is no packet pickup. On race morning report to the Vestal Senior Center, 201 S. Main Street by 7:30 am to pick up your competition bib number. The race starts and finishes at the Senior Center.
