Description

The why…

A bike ride to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer. We ride to raise money for research and to find a cure.  OUR GOAL: $50,000. 

Participants can choose between 3 great ride options: A 50 mile route to Sylvan Beach and back, a comfortable 20 mile loop on awesome county roads - or - 
New this year 1 mile Fun event - pedal it, push, pull, drag, slide it – however you do it! Make that mile happen any way you can!

Net proceeds from the event will benefit the tremendous efforts of the American Cancer Society

All riders will receive a chance to win fabulous door prizes and enjoy a post-ride celebration with food, beer and live entertainment at 7 Hamlets Brewing Co
Pre-ride coffee and snacks will be provided. 

FUNDRAISING: Fundraising is voluntary, but *highly encouraged*

Are you a breast cancer survivor? We want to hear your story! We'd love for you to submit your story with your registration.

What is The Pink Mile? 
One mile of fun, fighting cancer & honoring those impacted! Wear your pink and Roll out!! 

Sunday Oct 5th we're going to fill Seymour Lane, Westmoreland with Trikes, strider bikes, scooters, strollers, Big Wheels, unicycles, wagons, tandem bikes, rickshaws, BMX, cruisers -whatever is hiding in the back of the garage - in an event like Central New York has never seen!! 

Bring your friends, your family, hey bring your friends family too! Register individually or as a team! 

***REGISTRATION is FREE BUT limited, and REQUIRED for all participants***

Fundraising is optional but kind of the purpose! Come join us at the afterparty at 7 Hamlets for great raffles, prizes and entertainment!

FAQs

Q: Can I change the event I want to participate in?

A: Yes! If you registered for the 20 or 50 mile rides and decide to swap events, feel free to let us know that day!

   If you registered for the Pink Mile and decide to do one of the longer events, please register for the longer event & email iacostadelrio@gmail.com  to let us know!

 

Q: Are there any local group rides to help me prep? 

A: Yes! Here are some of our favorite options, all which accommodate different skill levels:

-          Join your local cycling club! Clubs like Mohawk Valley Bicycling Club have rides almost daily! https://mvbc.us/

If you're not local to the Mohawk Valley area, we may have suggestions for you - feel free to reach out! 

 

Q: Are E-bikes allowed? 

A: Yes - for the 20 & 50 miles only. Just don't embarrass the regular cyclists too badly.

     Human-power only for the Pink Mile!

Q: When is registration check in? 

A: Check-in is prior to your event, Sunday, October 5th. Be sure to arrive early to check in!

Q: Riding is not for me, but I like the fundraising perks. Can I just - not ride? 

A: Yes! Just become a participant: Select > “Donate”. Scroll Down > Become a Participant & complete participant profile
