It's July and that means it's prime time for conditioning! This event is a throw back to the days of high school cross country practices held in the dead of summer, the ones we all tried to skip, especially the long runs!
So this event is to to make up for those runs you skipped out on back in the day (or have been skipping even this year!). With 4 weekends in July, you've got 4 opportunities to do a long run! When you enter for free, you will be able to submit the distance of your 4 longest runs (pace isn't important). The goal is to get you all to do your long runs!
But in true summer conditioning fashion, practice ain't over when the run ends! It's time for push-ups and sit-ups. You can enter push-ups and sit-ups each day of the month and you will need to because to be eligible for the random giveaways, you have to do them!
We will choose 4 winners total at random from four categories below at the end of the month to get a free ARP hat of their choice. You are eligible to win each time you hit a tier but can only win once. E.g., at the end of the month we will take all participants who hit tier 1 and draw a random winner. We will then narrow it down and choose a random winner for all who hit tier 2. So if you hit tier 4, you have four chances to win! The categories are as follows;
Tier 1 - Total distance ran greater than 25 Miles + 100 push-ups + 100 sit-ups
Tier 2 - Total distance ran greater than 40 miles + 200 push-ups + 200 sit-ups
Tier 3 - Total distance ran greater than 55 miles + 300 push-ups + 300 sit-ups
Tier 4 - Total distance greater than 70 miles + 400 push-ups + 400 sit-ups
